I'm Noemi, the face behind Zen 'n Birth.
I'm a mom of two little cheeky boys, wife and hypnobirthing teacher based in South Manchester, teaching The Wise Hippo Birthing Programme to live for my passion.
I love to spend quality time with my little family, I like good food, nature, music, discovering new places, staying active & going on extra long walks, trying out & learning new things and I love water in every aspect!
As a first time pregnant mom during the pandemic I was absolutely sure that I read everything that I needed to, and gathered all the information to feel ready for the big day.
As it turned out later, I wasn't at all. There were of course things I knew, but most were just practical considerations, bibs and bobs, lots of confusing information, a couple of breathing exercises and of course I also read as much as I could about the "what if" scenarios, interventions and that's it. I felt completely prepared.
I went off to have a long and absolutely uneasy birth, which they say is very common and "normal" as a first time mom. Well, now I know it doesn't have to be that way!
I was blessed to find hypnobirthing right after the birth of my firstborn. It was unfortunately late for our birth experience, but it was perfectly timed for my second.
Honestly, it was the best thing that could have happened to us. Read my own hypnobirthing story, which stems from my personal experience with the Wise Hippo Birthing Programme—the very program I now teach—here.
Hypnobirthing wasn't just an incredible birth experience. It's allowed me to open my eyes in to a whole new world and deeply inspired me to show its beauty to as many people as possible.
My mission through Zen 'n Birth? To make more comfortable & positive births accessible to all, regardless of the way it happens. Because every birthing person deserves this empowering experience—not as a privilege, but as a standard.
What I truly believe and stand for is that: a positive birth is not a myth. It is a state of mind and the realistic result of practise, knowledge and efforts you put in during those months of pregnancy.
